This data set was searched against the H. sapiens proteome on January 15, 2008. It is a re-annotation of the original data set GPM32100009376. The new re-annotated data can be found here and the original data set is here.
No experimental details were supplied with the data. The instrument used was most likely a Thermo ion trap instrument. The sample was digested with porcine trypsin and iodoacetimide was used to block cysteine residues.
The proteins represented by the model are a broad cross-section of plasma proteins. Based on the results, it would appear to come from a human plasma sample that has been depleted for high-abundance proteins, such as serum albumin. It contains an unusually high concentration of lysosomal proteins, which are of unknown origin.
