The peptide_mut table is an on-disk index of known Single Nucleotide-induced Amino acid Polymorphism (SNAP) examples in peptides stored in GPMDB. It is used in protein mutation searches. The combination of peptide identifier and SNAP name is unique, but there may be more than one example of a SNAP.

The contents of this table are updated incrementally as part of the update procedure which executes daily.

Columns:

  • mutation: the name of a given mutation; e.g., rs4098273.
  • pepid: the peptide identifier which contains this specific mutation.
