The proseq table stores the full residue sequences for the proteins which can be identified by the search software. The unique identifier for a given protein sequence is stored as part of the record for entries in the protein table.

This table is only updated during system maintenance, such as for incorporating new data releases.

  • proseqid: the unique identifier for a protein sequence.
  • seq: the full residue sequence of the protein, as predicted by the RNA sequence.
  • label: the accession number which accompanies this protein sequence.
  • label_aux: an auxiliary accession number for this protein, if any (may be blank).
  • rf: constrained to the set of integers between -3 and 3, excluding zero but including null. This value is not user-accessible.
